Day 5: The Quiet Floor

It is Monday morning, 8:40. The tickets keep arriving, and they all come from floor 3.

Nobody up there can open anything. The intranet, the mail and the CRM do not answer.

You call the first person who sent a ticket. She tells you that she can print, but that she cannot open anything else.

So the floor itself is working. The problem is that nothing can go from floor 3 to the rest of the building.

Sarah, from the network room: "Both switches are up and nobody touched them this morning. Take the console."

You have a console on the floor switch, SW-3F-ACC1, and another one on the core switch, SW-CORE1. A single cable connects the two.

• Repair it, without breaking anything else

• Check that it works from PC1

• Save the configuration
